Tuna Salad Lettuce Wraps...

Tuna salad sandwiches are a delicious meal maker any time of day. Add a twist to this classic recipe by replacing the bread with a lettuce wrap. It’s easy to make and the kids will have fun helping.

Tuna Salad Recipe
You will need:
  • 1 can well drained Tuna fish (use the “in water” variety)
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 2 teaspoons sweet pickle relish
To make it:
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and stir until well mixed
You can replace the mayo with Miracle Whip or “salad dressing”.

Note: If you use the canned tuna in oil, be aware that your tuna salad will have more of a “mushy” texture.
You will need:
  • Tuna Salad
  • Cheese slices
  • Lettuce – butter lettuce or ice berg lettuce work best

How to make it:
Place individual lettuce leaf with the curve facing up so it forms somewhat of a bowl shape
Place 1/2 of a cheese slice on the lettuce
Place 1-2 spoonfuls of tuna salad on top of cheese
Carefully roll to form a burrito style wrap

Enjoy!
