Bible Verses about God’s Love...

As many of you know, I love lists of Bible verses and I love Christian quotes. This post is an outworking of my love of both. God’s love is something that many people might believe in their heads, but many of us, myself included, struggle with getting it into our hearts. We believe that God loves the world, and God may love our neighboUrs, but God may not really love us. So I felt like I wanted to give you and me both, a list of Bible verses about God’s love to remind all of us how amazing His love really is. I hope that it is a blessing to you and that you will come away today after reading this post with a new realization that Jesus really does love you, this you know, for the Bible tells you so.

Listen to this song about the amazing love of God for you while you are reading this list.

11 Bible Verses About God’s Love!
Scripture verses about God’s love

Psalm 52:8
But I am like an olive tree, thriving in the house of God. I will always trust in God’s unfailing love.

Psalm 61:7
May he reign under God’s protection forever. May your unfailing love and faithfulness watch over him.

Psalm 136:2
Give thanks to the God of gods. His faithful love endures forever.

John 1:17
For the law was given through Moses, but God’s unfailing love and faithfulness came through Jesus Christ.

John 3:16
“For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

Romans 8:31-39
31 What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us? 32 Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else? 33 Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own? No one—for God himself has given us right standing with himself. 34 Who then will condemn us? No one—for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us.
35 Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? 36 (As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.”) 37 No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.
38 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. 39 No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Ephesians 3:17-18
Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. 18 And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is.

1 John 3:1
See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! But the people who belong to this world don’t recognize that we are God’s children because they don’t know him.

Jude 1:20-21
20 But you, dear friends, must build each other up in your most holy faith, pray in the power of the Holy Spirit, 21 and await the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will bring you eternal life. In this way, you will keep yourselves safe in God’s love.

Ephesians 1:4
Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes.

Ephesians 2:3-5
3 All of us used to live that way, following the passionate desires and inclinations of our sinful nature. By our very nature we were subject to God’s anger, just like everyone else. 4 But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, 5 that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!)
