Dear Mother Earth & Father Heaven
Bring rain to our parched earth
Bring peace to our fire hearts
that send dry hurtful, hateful
thoughts and actions out into
the world, where they land upon
the skin of the earth
Let our hearts be filled with love,
especially now, that becomes a river
of water gently falling from the sky
onto dry earth
Let the soil, plants, rocks
receive this ocean of love
Let this love flow into depths,
to the roots in darkness,
so they can bring life to the light
and greening above
