Our Father's green pastures and still waters are just one more of
His glorious provisions.
He is calling us to a place of peace.
The green pastures are His Word and His Word is our food, our nourishment.
It is always full of life and never void of power or barren ...
and He calls us to lie down in the peace of His Word.
There is not one situation in our lives He does not have an answer for, or provide a pasture to reside in.
As we meditate on it, we let it create pastures of contentment in our hearts.
His Word revives us and gives us life (Ps. 119:50.)
His Word creates in us freedom from fear, strife, worry, frustration and hunger.
We cannot do this on your own. His Word, implanted, imparts faith to believe that
He keeps us from all threats of the enemy, threats to take, to remove
His promises from our lives or any other tactic aimed at stealing us away from His Word,
His protection.
When we are resting in His Word, mercy and loving-kindness meet with truth.
Righteousness and peace kiss each other.
When we put His Word in our hearts, when we appropriate it, the Word makes us lie down in a place of rest, where our minds are renewed.
His word has power and makes green pastures and watered gardens out of our hearts and lives.
