INGREDIENTS:
- 4 Chicken Breasts – de boned, skinned and cut into 4 strips each
- 6 tb Margarine
- 50ml oil
- 1½ Cups Bread Crumbs – must be fresh breadcrumbs and not dried
- ¾ Cup Finely Grated Cheddar Cheese
- 1 tb Thyme
- 1 tb Salt
- 1 tb Barbeque Spice
- ½ ts Lemon Pepper
- Melt the margarine, add the oil, mix together well and let it cool off.
- Mix together the bread crumbs, cheese, thyme, salt, barbecue & lemon pepper
- Dip the chicken strips into the margarine mixture and then roll it in the crumbs
- Place on a greased baking tray and let it set in the fridge for an hour or so
- Bake on 180 Degrees until crisp & golden brown, turning it halfway through.
