Crumbed Chicken Strips


INGREDIENTS:
  • 4 Chicken Breasts – de boned, skinned and cut into 4 strips each
  • 6 tb Margarine
  • 50ml oil
  • 1½ Cups Bread Crumbs – must be fresh breadcrumbs and not dried
  • ¾ Cup Finely Grated Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 tb Thyme
  • 1 tb Salt
  • 1 tb Barbeque Spice
  • ½ ts Lemon Pepper
HOW TO:
  1. Melt the margarine, add the oil, mix together well and let it cool off.
  2. Mix together the bread crumbs, cheese, thyme, salt, barbecue & lemon pepper
  3. Dip the chicken strips into the margarine mixture and then roll it in the crumbs
  4. Place on a greased baking tray and let it set in the fridge for an hour or so
  5. Bake on 180 Degrees until crisp & golden brown, turning it halfway through.
