When I speak to Jesus at the end of the day,
He kneels beside me when I pray.
I thank Him for watching over me, and hope He's pleased with what He sees.
Mistakes I've made, there is no blame; As Im forgiven in His name.
His light shines on me from above and covers me with lasting love.
In His arms, He holds me tight; Thats how Jesus says goodnight.
I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the Lord sustains me.
