Cute Snowball Slippers


Materials: Slipper (make 2)

  • Worsted Weight Yarn 3 1/2 [4] oz white
  • Crochet Hook Size I
  • Tapestry Needle
Finished Size: 9" Sole 10" are in [ ]Side:
Rnd 1: Ch 29 [33], 3 sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in each ch across with 3 sc 
in last ch; working on opposite side of ch, sc in each ch across, join with sl 
st in first sc (58 sc) [66 sc]
Rnd 2: Ch 1, sc in first st, tr in next st, (sc in next st, tr in next st) around, join.
Rnd 3: Ch 4, sc in next st, (tr in next st, sc in next st) around, join with sl st in 
top of ch-4. First ch-4 counts as first tr.
Rnd 4: Ch 1, sc in first st, tr in next st, (sc in next st, tr in next st) around, join
with sl st in first sc.
Rnds 5-8 [5-10]: Repeat rnds 3 and 4 alternately. At end of last rnd, 

fasten off.

Instep:
Rnd 1:
Ch 11 [13], 3 sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in each ch across with 3 

sc in last ch; working on opposite side of ch, sc in each ch across, join with
sl st in first sc (22 sc) [26 sc]
Rnd 2: Ch 1, (sc, tr) in each st around, join, fasten off.
Leaving 8 [10] unworked, matching sts, sew rnd 2 of instep to rnd 8 [10] on 

one end of side.
For edging working around last rnd of side and across unworked sts of rnd 
2 on instep, join with sc in center back st on side, sc in each st around with 
2 sc in st across instep, join with sl st in first sc, fasten off.
Cut 2 strands yarn each 10" long. Holding both strands together, tie into a 
bow around stitch at center of instep.
