Easy Sultana Bread recipe

Sultana Teatime Bread

 (Serves: 6-8) Preparation time: 15 minutes or less
  • 1 cup sultanas 
  • 1 cup milk 
  • ½ cup sugar 
  • 1½ cups self-raising flour 

1. Soak sultanas in milk overnight.
2. Preheat oven to 150°C.
3. Mix sultanas, milk, sugar and flour together.
4. Place in a greased non-stick cake or loaf tin.
5. Bake for 45 minutes.
6. Cool on cake rack.

Tip: A spread of margarine or butter compliments nicely. Freezes well. Adjust sugar accordingly to suit your personal preference.
